On taffeta, zombies and ceremonies:

So, in my random wanderings around the internet whilst I'm trying to figure out what, exactly a girl who has attended a total of four weddings in her life, is supposed to do to plan one of these things, I have noticed two recurring themes.

One:
As a girl, nothing has changed since high school prom. Once you've secured your man, the dress becomes the most important, be-all, end-all function of your life.

Two:
Nobody makes zombie-uprising compliant wedding attire.

That having been noted, upon browsing around Offbeat Bride, I found a wedding ceremony that speaks about zombies.

Will I be using it? No. Did it make me feel better about my own paranoia? You bet it did!

  1. a)Offbeat Bride is one of my favorite things in the history of ever.

b)The answer to zombie-uprising compliant attire is simple: a hunting knife in your garter.

  3. *facepaws* what happens later in the ceremony when Nate takes the garter off? Won't the knife fall out?
